The origins of the product: Pottery seen through the eyes of the designer

The pottery industry has been described as a declining industry in recent years, facing issues such as resource depletion and a shrinking market. However, even amidst these circumstances, behind the companies and products there are people who continue to work as ceramic designers. Although it may be difficult to see from the outside, they have been fascinated by and deeply involved with pottery, just like the artists who create three-dimensional objects. This exhibition aims to reexamine pottery from a new perspective by focusing not only on the form and function of the products, but also on the "designers" who create them.
