Past Exhibitions <2015-2011>

The exhibition is supervised by Takahiro Kaneshima, representative and art director of FEC.
At a time when the "concept of art" is wavering in the global art scene, we will reconsider Japan's unique art and expression, nurtured by history, and explore the possibilities of contemporary expression unique to Japan from the perspective of "concept and material."

 

The venue featured works by two internationally acclaimed artists, Koshimizu Susumu, a key member of the Mono-ha movement, and Nakajima Harumi, who pursues the expression and possibilities of porcelain, as well as Kunimatsu Kineta, Ofune Shingon, and SHIMURAbros, who each approach the universality of wood, mineral pigments, and film as their materials, and Goto Kota and Mori Aya, who are up-and-coming artists of the next generation who use glass and clay.
